It's a ROLLER!
Dropped it down on the groumd today. I am useing the jag wheels for now. I have an old set of 15 inch Halibrands which will look good on it.
This truck will not be low/low. I hope it will be down about 4 or 5 inches in front and about 3 or 4 in the back. Maybe like an old farm truck with bagged out springs. because after I get through painting it will definitely look like an old bagged out farm truck, what with my painting skills!
Oh well building things out of junk seems to be my style.
Ordered a radiator the other day, dodge pickup, will shoot some photos when it arrives.
The gas tank will work out OK from a jeep Cheroke,I want the filler to come through the left rear fender with a 47 ford car gas filler door.
The front shock mounts are next,I am going to attempt to avoid mounting them on the frame. I would like to get them on the front jag member somehow?

Cab on
Hope this is the final time the cab goes on!
Well! Cab is on Exhaust under the cab is done and the heat shields are all on. I used stainless .060 for the shields. years ago I used the same on the hot rod and they have worked out great for 25 years.
Bled the hyd clutch it was easy as I had put a high point on the line on the right hand frame rail with another heat shield.
Emergency brake line runs along by the master cyl and booster. I am using the jag master so as it uses remote reservoirs I am thinking about placing them behind the seat about two feet up the back of the cab, I would like to keep the firewall as clean as possible. this should give me a bit of a head of pressure to ensure that there is no flow back when the car sits. The rear calipers may be higher than the under floor master cyl.
Lots of clearance for the steering shaft,I did move the engine and trans one inch to the right.
So next is to turn it around and start on the jeep Cherokee tank.
The rad is still a question,I want a three row and as wide as possible and am looking at 72 /73 Dodge 1/2 ton rads.
