Working on the rad install.
As is visible there is not much room
When I built the car I did not want to cut the firewall so it was measure twice and cut  once

Using the dual pulleys cuts down the room I only have 1/2 inch between the pulleys and the rad support and 1/4 inch between the fan and distributor cap!

But I have 30 years of use on this  mind you this is my third engine.

The single 94  is for break in and then the Early Hexagon intake and Hexagon Air Cleaner go on

I have considered using a four bolt Merc intake and a 56 Chev two barrel  we will see the dual Hexagon looks great especially with the cast iron finned heads but a full hood and who will know. I do not normally open the hood. folks can look through the louvers.

Beside I do not go to shows  I just drive it.

Bills engine will be great  Pre oil next week and then I will light it off.

It has been awhile! But here is the latest. I managed to get a press pass thanks to Thomas and Carsten. This is the now world known Beach Races at ROMO on the West coast of Denmark An Island just out in the North Sea. Connected by a 5 KM causeway all sand!

This car is owned by Paul Olsson of Sweden.
A 29 roadster with a B and a Graham Supercharger he has done a fine job of adapting it and his speed was excellent!
I also have close ups of how he adapted the drive if anyone wants to see them.

This photo of Paul at speed was taken by his brother Bengt Olsson It is a better photo than the one I took.

Been a while but here is todays project.

I want some carb screens for this old adapter so here we have it.

Mama and I went to the dollar store to get some birthday. anniversary. sympathy. cards for our card stock. never know when you will need one!

Wandering around I saw some sink drain traps for small bits that might plug up a drain.

Stainless steel, with just the right dia base which when I trimmed down fit tight over a 48.81,94,97 carb throat.

They fit so tight I will not need a clamp

Ah yes making stuff out of junk is what I do best!

Here is a dust pan I made for Al Clark.

Al is the originator of Northwest Deuce Days in Victoria

He is moving and had a garage sale  which I missed as We were at ROMO in Denmark. I dropped by and he had a few Deuce day licence plates left and a Mickey Thompson Con rod from his old 354 Hemi dragster engine, Had a spun bearing

So I made this for him

Now every time he sweeps the floor he will recall that engine.

As it was gathering dust on the bench now it can be used to pickup that dust!

This is progress so far
plug wires next had to order some linkage as I could not make anything from my junk box.
Notice how the carbs are centered but backwards! I can fit a generator on in the stock place. The Generator has Subaru alternator guts and is good for 46 amps  12 volt.
Cast Iron Kogel heads and the original Hexagon Tool air filter. should be nice.

I used the dual belt system as the water pumps for a truck have bearings and not bushings
