 This is Revolution Square. Fidel and Che.  Interesting that there is nothing for sale  of Fidel? Absolutely nothing! It is like he never was there. Lots of Che ,He seems to be Idolized?

 I have never seen so many 49 Plymouth ribbed bumpers! Man oh man I looked all over to get two for my truck project.

Seems like 49-52 Dodge and Plymouth held up well? Lots of 49-52 Chevs but very few Fords, Like hardly any?

There are more convertables in Havana than any where. Out in the Boonies and on the dirt roads are lots of old Mopar products.

I liked this old Chev wagon.

Chev like ours but a four door and it has the fancy extra fender birds.

This what I call a fine example of Detroit decadence!

We went into this fancy pre revolution hotel

Went through the Lobby and up the old elevator to the top. We walked around and Took some photos of the city square and some of the thousands of cars around it. Nice!

Havana Cuba.

Sent some time in Havana last week.

What a city! These are just a few of what we saw.

How about a Crown Vic!

 Most of the cars are powered by four cylinder diesels! But the cars look great!

These two I think were stock or close to it.

This 50 Buick was really something! I spent some time with my very rudimentary Spanish and the owner said his family has had the car for years. He lifted the hood and it has a four cylinder diesel  Turbo with an inter cooler! Four wheel disc brakes hand fabricated and power assist.

Got the headlights all done! halogen lights.

I found a few rolls of woven tar covered sleeving for my wires,three dia sizes.

Now I can hide the wires"Kit" as there is many colours and sizes.

Danish Auto Club

When we were in Denmark and went to the Auto show and swap meet I picked up these.

Not sure but they could be from the 40,s they are the medallion's from the Royal Danish Auto Club.
They would have been mounted on a grill or bumper. NICE!
They look like they have spent a few years and miles out on the road.
Might put them on the Hot Rod.

Does not look like I will be driving the Hot Rod for awhile! Stuck in the garage! Cement was cracked big time so putting in Pavers.

Will all be nice and pretty for Christmas.

It will look good.

Danish Holiday

Nice 37 Ford Fire truck.

This 37 is a roadster/Cabriolet. At one time it was raced? Now has a nice 59A with two carbs a set of Canadian aluminum heads and what looked like cast headers but not Fentons?

Now this is nice and different!

German Ford,how about the door hinges? no squeak!

39 two door was nice

Always thought Lambos were just fast cars,while it seems they also make slow ones!

ROMO

Here are a couple of cars at ROMO  in Denmark last month.

Type in ROMO SPEED FESTIVAL or try ROMO MOTOR FESTIVAL and take a look. Just like TROG but a better beach!

50 Chev 1/2 ton

Saw this parked on the side of the road in Vancouver.
The owner was doing gardening. I hopped out and was taking the photo. He walked up and we talked for awhile. I mentioned how I liked the 49 Plymouth bumpers and he said it was a Chev?
No I said those are 49 Plymouth bumpers. OH  is that what they are he said. I suppose he bought the truck,It was very nice! Good looking truck.
