Went over to Stuarts this morning,He is smoothing out a 35 Ford cab. Pretty solid piece but a lot of cracked interior brackets.

My plan was if I kept my eyes open, listened and kept my mouth shut I just might learn something! Well I did that and he took out some big dents and I handled the torch well he shrunk the metal. It turned out well and next week when some sills arrive we will "he will" put them in. All in All I am happy and learned a lot.
In my career I was an aircraft structures guy  but never did work with steel always aluminum,so this was a great experience for me. Now at least I know which side of  the dent to put the dolly and  Hammer on.

Went to the Fords and Friends event today,Low and behold Stu brought out his Ford.
Not sure how he keeps it so clean but it sure is nice!

Just on the HAMB and am looking at a Smith Jiggler with a small SCOT. here is a nice dual adapter for something like that and moves the carbs back a bit  and much lower than the old Almquist style.

Took this at Fords and Friends show.
When I was about 15  we would see this car in Victoria,Named "BLOODY MARY"!
It was a show car. Couple of years later My friend Daryl Thom and I met the second owner
He also had a 31 Ford roadster with a Chev six. Nice! He is Barry Neff.
So here I am 50 years later and have moved back to Victoria  after travelling the world and living all over. Walk by the entrance and WOW the Bloody Mary!!
It could use a shave and a haircut but was all there and the new owner was smiling and enjoying it. Nice to see these old cars still around.
Here is another old Victoria Hot Rod,Great to see these on the road again!

Dust pans

So. Been awhile,I made about 20 of these and gave them away at the BBQ at Al,s place the night before the Fathers day show. Everyone who got one was pleased. Brian had most of the plates and gave them to me so I thought this was a good way to use them.

Well this is how far I am today. Last Saturday we did the electrics and now will work on insulation. Just finished running copper pipe for air from the compressor to the other end of the garage. I want to have my glass bead cabinet outside under a leanto.

As soon as the garage door is on and drywall finished I can get the truck project here and get going doing some car stuff! I have all my big tools in storage so it will be nice to get everything in one place.

European Ford

While we were in Denmark we went to one of the biggest swap meets in Northern Europe. I walked for miles not much early Ford stuff but lots of odd ball items. I just about bought a NOS 49 Anglia complete grill just perfect but how would I get it home? make a nice wall hanger for $40 any how passed on it. The 37/29 Ford was neat it was like a 37 and a 38 I liked the V8 in the horn covers they would look nice on a 36.

This 37 was an original Ford  there seems to be more of the upper end Fords  than the two door style. Maybe only the wealthy could afford these cars. I know of a couple of B400 32's in Denmark. Not for sale of course.

This an old Opel  I like the roll back top.

I have always liked the four cyl inline Nimbus motorcycles. made in Denmark from the 30's till the early 1950's many were used by the postal system.
